Kaufman Dolowich Promotes Ten Attorneys to Partner and Of Counsel, 2-14-2024
(Feb 14, 2024, Woodbury, N.Y.) —Kaufman Dolowich LLP, a leading national law firm, announces the promotion of six attorneys to the firm’s partnership and four attorneys as of counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Promoted to Partnership:
Gregory Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) is a litigator who focuses his practice on professional liability, errors and omissions, insurance coverage, commercial, products liability and general liability litigation. He represents clients across numerous industries, including insurers, manufacturers, construction companies, healthcare providers, universities, nonprofit organizations, and other entities before the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Catherine Casavant (Hackensack, N.J.) counsels and defends clients on insurance coverage matters involving directors and officers, errors and omissions and professional liability policies. She has extensive experience representing insurers regarding insurance coverage for high-profile corporate matters, including securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions and employment actions. Casavant also represents insurers in arbitrations and litigations concerning insurance coverage.
Nicole Chaves (Orlando, Fla.) represents clients in the full life cycle of insurance coverage and defense matters, from policy review, coverage terms, settlements and litigation. She also defends clients and provides counsel on employment cases, health care and managed care, and in commercial litigation.
Kyle McConnell (Chicago, Ill.) focuses his practice in complex insurance coverage and litigation, specifically in fidelity and commercial crime, cybercrime and financial institution bonds. He is an experienced litigator having first-chaired many trials to verdict, representing clients in commercial litigation, professional liability, premises liability, wrongful death and employment matters.
Jason Rossiter (Dallas, Tx.) is an employment attorney representing clients in high-risk employment claims such as wage-and-hour class actions and employment contract disputes. He defends businesses in individual and class-action lawsuits, including before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, and in defense of matters arising out of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Additionally, Rossiter creates and negotiates complex executive employment contracts, and provides counsel to the firm’s clients on employment law compliance policies and practices to prevent or mitigate liability.
Kevin Windels (New York City, N.Y.) represents insurers, insureds, and a variety of private clients in cases involving professional liability. He litigates cases involving directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, ERISA, fidelity bonds, and insurance coverage matters. He also represents clients in a variety of complex commercial business disputes. Windels has handled trials in state and federal court, numerous appeals in New York State’s appellate courts and before the Second Circuit and has arbitrated and mediated cases before various dispute resolution entities.
Promoted to Of Counsel:
Charles Bergin (Westchester, N.Y.) counsels clients on a myriad of labor and employment matters and at times on intellectual property, entertainment law and immigration matters as well. He also defends clients on general liability issues and has experience navigating insurance coverage, multi-district class actions, and litigating cases at both the federal and state level.
Robert Borowski (Los Angeles, Calif.) defends clients in a broad range of professional liability matters in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations with a focus on legal malpractice. He has successfully represented a broad range of individual professionals, professional services firms, and other entities by defending claims alleging the performance of their duties.
Kristina Duffy (New York City, N.Y.) is an experienced insurance coverage attorney concentrating her practice on directors and officers/management liability coverage, professional liability/errors and omissions coverage, as well as general liability, and cyber law coverage. She is also a seasoned litigator in both state and federal courts, representing clients in the areas of professional liability, commercial litigation, intellectual property, healthcare, and general liability.
Seth Meyer (Woodbury, N.Y.) represents businesses, contractors, and individuals in the construction, energy, healthcare, real estate development industries in transactional matters and in litigation. Serving as outside general counsel to a wide range of regional and national clients, Meyer regularly represents clients in both state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey.
