Overview
Loren Barron is a highly experienced litigator who concentrates her practice on professional liability defense, directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, employment law and general liability.
In her professional liability practice, Ms. Barron defends lawyers and accountants in breach of duty of care and conspiracy claims. Her legal malpractice experience includes defending corporate attorneys, bankruptcy attorneys, and litigators in nearly every field of law. She also defends doctors and hospitals against claims of medical malpractice. Ms. Barron’s extensive employment law work includes defending employers against discrimination and whistleblower claims.
In her corporate practice, she defends directors and officers in breach of fiduciary duty claims. Ms. Barron practices in the Court of Chancery and Superior Court of the State of Delaware as well as the United States District Court. She has extensive experience in handling contract disputes, employment discrimination disputes, and various tort claims including consumer fraud, civil conspiracy, breach of contract, and defamation.
Ms. Barron’s practice spans many different industries including healthcare, television and media, cannabis, and global manufacturers in trucking and transportation.
Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Barron was a partner at a regional law firm and a director at a Delaware law firm. She also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware and practiced appellate law in Florida. During law school, she served as a Federal Judicial Intern in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
