Overview

Associate Vince Geangan focuses his defense practice on employment law, professional liability, and commercial litigation.

He represents business employers and insurance companies in legal employment matters arising out of claims of discrimination, wage and hour violations, retaliation, ADA, wrongful discharge, and advises them on employment agreements. In his professional liability work, Mr. Geangan represents professionals in claims alleging breach of duty, fraud, or negligence. His clients include lawyers, real estate brokers and agents, and homeowners’ associations. In Mr. Geangan’ s commercial litigation work he handles disputes, actions brought under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) as well as breach of contract matters.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Geangan was an associate working in general liability defense cases of insurance matters, construction defects, and contract disputes. During law school, he served as a student clinician at the school’s Internet & Intellectual Property Justice Clinic, and in both the Public Defender and District Attorney’s Offices of San Francisco as a law clerk.
