Ryan Turner

Overview

Ryan Turner focuses his practice primarily on professional liability coverage and monitoring, with an emphasis on program management, representing domestic and London-based professional liability underwriters.  As part of his practice, Mr. Turner offers claim management, insurance coverage and analysis and risk management services to insurance companies, risk retention groups and captive insurers engaged in the business of underwriting or reinsuring insurance programs for various professional classes. In this capacity, he has served as claims, coverage and monitoring counsel for various classes of professionals subscribing to errors and omissions coverage. This includes attorneys, life insurance agents, property and casualty insurance agents, managing general agents, technical consultants, mortgage brokers and bankers, architects and engineers, real estate agents, title agents, escrow agents, home inspectors, guardians and property managers. In addition, Mr. Turner serves as coverage and monitoring counsel for other types of insurance programs, including general liability, employment practices liability, financial institutions, primary and excess directors and officers liability, miscellaneous medical errors and omissions and not-for-profit directors and officers liability, including fidelity coverage.  He is also involved in the development of new insurance programs for other classes of professionals.

His experience in the London, England insurance marketplace provides him with a deep understanding of risk and profitability considerations that London-based insurance carriers rely on when underwriting and reinsuring new and existing policies and programs. He monitors the coverage litigation and arbitration environments for domestic and London-based clients, throughout the U.S.

Mr. Turner’s extensive knowledge of clients’ risk environments and revenue streams allows him to provide custom policy counsel, assisting clients in developing and implementing new insurance products.
