Overview
Nima Masjedi zadeh focuses his practice on employment law and professional liability.
He represents employers in matters such as discrimination, wage and hour violations and compliance, wrongful discharge, and whistleblower and retaliation claims. Mr. Masjedi zadeh defends employers in Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, and disputes involving collective bargaining agreements. Additionally, he defends against administrative actions before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board. In his professional liability work, he represents clients in negligence claims including homeowners’ associations (HOAs), real estate professionals, and attorneys.
Mr. Masjedi zadeh is fluent in Farsi (Persian).
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, he worked as a law firm business immigration analyst, and an employment and privacy legal intern for a Fortune 500 tech company. During law school, Mr. Masjedi zadeh was President of the Student Bar Association, Treasurer for the Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and a student advisor and teaching assistant.
