Overview

Associate Nima Masjedi zadeh focuses his practice on employment law.

He represents employers in matters such as discrimination, wage and hour violations and compliance, wrongful discharge, and whistleblower and retaliation claims. He defends employers in Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, and disputes involving collective bargaining agreements. Additionally, he defends against administrative actions before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board.

Mr. Masjedi zadeh is fluent in Farsi (Persian).

During law school, Mr. Masjedi zadeh received Dean’s Leadership Award, and was President of the Student Bar Association, and Treasurer for the Middle Eastern Law Student Association. He served as a student advisor at the school’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic and as a teaching assistant. Mr. Masjedi zadeh worked as a law firm business immigration analyst, as an employment and privacy legal intern for a Fortune 500 tech company, as a sales consultant at a luxury car dealer, and participated in an internship at an accounting firm.
