Overview
Jordan Sklar is a partner at Kaufman Dolowich. He focuses his practice on professional liability and employment law. In the area of professional liability, he represents accountants, architects and engineers, design professionals, and lawyers. Mr. Sklar also represents management in all areas of employment litigation including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
He has extensive litigation experience, including appellate work and has argued before the New York State Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Additionally, Mr. Sklar’s litigation experience includes several years in the public sector. He served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, which represents New York City, the New York City Mayor, elected officials, and NYC agencies in civil litigation.
