Overview

Christopher Nucifora is an accomplished business litigator and trusted legal advisor who has a broad range of experience handling complex commercial matters. His experience includes litigating and resolving business and corporate conflicts, private and public construction disputes, directors and officers liability, and advising companies and executives on general legal issues, corporate governance, compliance, employment issues, environmental issues, securities, operations, data retention, insurance and overall risk management. Mr. Nucifora serves as General Counsel to corporate entities across a variety of industries.

Additionally, Mr. Nucifora has developed expertise in the complex field of information and data security and is an accomplished author and speaker on the issues.  Mr. Nucifora has substantial experience advising and litigating regarding cutting-edge technology issues such as “cyber liability,” data breaches, notification and crisis management, intellectual property disputes, trademark and licensing issues, and software agreements.

Mr. Nucifora’s diversified clientele includes closely held and publicly traded multi-national corporations, technology companies, contractors, executives, directors and officers, public officials, public entities, and licensed professionals.  He is highly regarded in all aspects of litigation from discovery through trial as well as mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Nucifora is a certified New Jersey State Wrestling Official and volunteer instructor.

  • Citibank v. Money Marketing, Inc.; Innobeta Systems, Inc.; BPD Bank; and Paragon Federal Credit Union, (Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division) – Successfully served as lead counsel for defendants in a complex cyber liability litigation case that was the first ever litigation concerning breach of an electronic transaction processor’s network data system resulting in large-scale losses.
  • LaConti Masonry and Conrete v. Structural Steel Fabricators, LLC, (AAA Arbitration) – Successfully removed litigation to arbitration even though there was no arbitration clause in the construction contract. After 31 days of arbitration a large arbitration award for client was secured.
  • Lee v. Nextran, et al., (U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey) – Successfully served as lead counsel for corporate and individual defendants in a large scale shareholder and securities litigation.
  • Morequity v. Chicago Title, (U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey) – Successfully represented defendant Mortgage Bankers and its officers in a suit by investors to recoup large scale damages as a result of various fraudulent mortgage schemes.
  • Choi v. Two More Brothers, Inc. et al., (Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division) – Successfully served as lead counsel for corporate and individual defendants in a large scale shareholder and securities litigation.
