Yinan Ma

Overview

Yinan Ma divides her practice between labor and employment law and professional liability.

Ms. Ma represents employers in a wide range of employment matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, family and medical leave, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants, and common law claims such as breach of contract and wrongful discharge. Her work includes drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and participating in settlement conferences and mediations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ms. Ma also advises clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and reviews and drafts employment policies, employment contracts, and severance agreements. She also provides training to management and employees.

In addition to her employment practice, Ms. Ma defends clients in professional liability and directors and officers liability matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ma was an associate with a national defense firm, where she handled employment discrimination, professional liability, and general liability litigation.

Ms. Ma is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
