Overview
Tony Andre focuses his practice on commercial litigation, consumer financial services, labor and employment, and professional liability. Mr. Andre has nearly two decades of legal experience.
He defends private and public sector employers in claims arising out of allegations of discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. He defends against class actions, and collective Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions.
His professional liability work includes defending financial clients, real estate industry professionals, and private institutions. Among past successes Mr. Andre represented a national bank in federal court in a high-stakes litigation matter involving an international government. Mr. Andre has represented countless investors and financial institutions in high-value commercial litigation, including successfully arguing cases on appeal.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Andre was a solo practitioner counseling clients on a broad range of legal matters, including employment discrimination claims management, commercial litigation, general civil transactions, and business litigation including contract disputes. Prior to having his own practice, Mr. Andre was with two Florida law firms, where he focused on financial services litigation, representing institutional clients and international banks in collection and creditors’ rights matters along with defending them in garnishment and interpleader actions.
