Overview
Sheila V. Walker concentrates her practice in labor and employment law and professional liability.
She defends management in a range of employment matters including wage and hour compliance, and review and drafting personnel policies, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants. Additionally, Ms. Walker defends professionals on behalf of private and insurance carrier clients in allegations of negligence.
Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Walker practiced at a national law firm where she defended corporate entities in general liability actions. Her experience also includes defending large corporations in matters involving products liability, breach of contract, employment disputes, and professional liability claims.
During law school, Ms. Walker served as a Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. She also clerked for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. She earned high honors in her law school’s Appellate Moot Court program.
Ms. Walker is fluent in Farsi.
