Overview

Samantha Pankey Martin concentrates her practice in labor and employment, professional liability, and directors and officers.

Ms. Martin represents business clients, insurance carriers, and public sector clients in matters arising from claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), wage and hour compliance, and whistleblower claims. She defends clients and provides counsel in all aspects of allegations of discrimination, harassment and claims of retaliation. Ms. Martin represents a range of professionals in matters arising from allegations of negligence and breach of duty, including those faced by directors and officers (D&O).

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Martin served as an associate representing clients in matters involving a broad spectrum of employment laws including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD).

During law school, she served as a law firm clerk and drafted discrimination charges and rebuttals pursuant to the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, filed with various administrative agencies including the EEOC, PHRC, and the NJ Division on Civil Rights.
