Rizzlyn Melo

Overview

Rizzlyn Melo focuses her practice on insurance coverage and litigation and directors and officers liability (D&O).

Ms. Melo represents domestic and foreign insurance carriers in a range of policy and coverage matters involving directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O), and employment practices liability. She serves as coverage and monitoring counsel, advising insurers in coverage disputes, risk management, and claims handling.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Melo was an associate working on coverage matters involving various lines of professional liability. During law school, Ms. Melo served as an editor of her school’s environmental law journal, and as a student attorney in the school’s tax clinic.
