Overview
Priyanshi Shah concentrates her practice in construction law and commercial litigation.
Ms. Shah focuses on a range of matters in both private and public construction projects, and other commercial business disputes. She provides services with respect to construction contract negotiations and drafting, contract administration, and litigation support. Ms. Shah represents clients in construction and real property disputes, extra work claims, mechanic’s liens, delay claims, and other claims based on breach of contract. Her diverse client base includes general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, commercial real estate developers, and property management companies.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Shah was with a municipal design & construction agency working on construction contracts, dispute resolution, and in labor law matters. She previously served as an in-house policy analyst at an architecture and engineering firm, where she worked on mobility and construction projects.
During law school, Ms. Shah served as a student attorney at a Civil Rights Clinic and as a legislative intern for the Arizona Senate Rules Committee. Additionally, she worked at the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, where she helped write a U.S. Army handbook and presented research on sensitive matters in construction projects.
Ms. Shah is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
