Overview

Attorney Frantz Duncan focuses his practice in employment law and professional liability, and commercial litigation.

In his employment law practice, Mr. Duncan defends employers who face allegations of wage and hour violations, and charges of discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, and retaliation. These include claims brought under state and federal courts, before the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, and other administrative agencies.

Mr. Duncan also defends clients in professional liability cases including claims of breach of duty and professional negligence against attorneys, accountants, adjusters, insurance agents, and real estate professionals. Additionally, he defends directors’ and officers’ in breach of duty claims.

Just prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, he worked as a litigation associate handling constitutional claims, insurance coverage disputes, contract disputes, product liability claims and asbestos litigation. Mr. Duncan also was a defense attorney handling healthcare and long-term care cases, and he served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender for the State of New Jersey handling child welfare matters.  Additionally, Mr. Duncan has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sharon A. King, U.S.M.J. in the United State District Court for the District of New Jersey, and to the Honorable James Hely, J.S.C. (ret.) in the New Jersey Superior Court.

Mr. Duncan is fluent in Haitian Creole and is conversational in Spanish.
