Elizabeth Vrachnas

Overview

Elizabeth Vrachnas concentrates her practice in general liability defense and construction law.

She defends general premises liability lawsuits and represents business owners and management companies. She handles complex civil litigation matters, including construction litigation, construction accidents arising under Labor Law 240 and 241, premises liability and general negligence.  Ms. Vrachnas regularly represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in personal injury and property damage matters arising from claims of failure to maintain, construction defects, violations of New York Labor Law, and negligence while pursuing risk transfer opportunities.

Ms. Vrachnas represents clients in all phases of litigation and guides clients by offering practical strategies and suggestions throughout the course of litigation to obtain the best possible resolution. She is a member of Kaufman Dolowich’s Women’s Initiative.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Vrachnas practiced general liability and construction litigation, and defended healthcare professionals and facilities in claims alleging medical malpractice, negligence and breach of duty.
