Overview

Dina Argueta focuses her practice on professional liability and employment law.

Ms. Argueta handles professional liability matters, including representing professionals and their firms in claims involving negligence, fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. She has worked on matters for attorneys, accountants, and insurance carriers, including carrier liability cases for homeowners’ associations.

In her employment practice, she defends employers in a wide range of litigation, including claims of termination, discrimination, and retaliation. Her experience includes single-plaintiff actions, class actions, and matters under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).


Ms. Argueta first joined Kaufman Dolowich as a law clerk. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk at a Los Angeles law firm, conducting legal research, drafting and responding to written discovery, assisting with motions, and observing pre-trial conferences and hearings. She also served as a summer law clerk at another defense firm, managing a large caseload, interviewing clients, and reviewing evidence and damages claims in mass tort litigation. During law school, Ms. Argueta volunteered with a local nonprofit, assisting Central American immigrants with permanent residency applications, citizenship preparation, and English language instruction.


Ms. Argueta is fluent in Spanish.
