David Kuffler

Overview

David Kuffler is a partner with the firm and concentrates his practice in insurance coverage and litigation, employment law, and professional liability.

He has spent more than two decades representing insurers in coverage litigation and arbitrations in both domestic and international forums. Mr. Kuffler draws on his extensive technical experience and knowledge of handling claims, and assists clients with claims, policy drafting and underwriting due diligence, in connection with representations and warranty insurance, and other transactional insurance. Mr. Kuffler keeps ahead of changes and market expansion of representations and warranty insurance in the U.S. for crafting terms. 

Mr. Kuffler handles matters pertaining to directors’ and officers’ liability insurance, Employee Retirement Income Security Act  (ERISA) and fiduciary matters. He handles many types of management and professional lines insurance, providing advice on complex issues and high profile cases. In his professional liability work, he defends executives under error and omissions policies, including complex issues of malpractice claims.
