Daniel P. Hagelberg

Overview

Associate Daniel P. Hagelberg focuses his practice on general liability defense and professional liability defense. He defends professionals and management, in particular breach of fiduciary duty claims against directors and officers, legal actions against business entities, and malpractice claims against professionals.

In his general liability defense work, Mr. Hagelberg defends against property damage claims, construction defects, and premises liability claims involving commercial and residential properties. He has significant experience in complex litigation and healthcare professional liability matters. Mr. Hagelberg also handles transactional matters including contract drafting and entity formation.

Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Hagelberg worked as a legislative aid and coached rowing for both the Men’s and Women’s teams at the University of Delaware, Washington College, and St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
