Overview
Christopher Imad Mdeway focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, real estate practices, general liability including professional liability defense, and maritime & admiralty law in administrative, municipal, state, and federal proceedings.
Mr. Mdeway also advises entities and individuals on a range of business and operational issues, including licensing and regulatory compliance, landlord-tenant matters, collections, corporate governance, and government investigations, ensuring that clients are equipped to manage both immediate challenges and long-term risks.
Mr. Mdeway provides comprehensive legal representation, guiding clients through their matter from initial consultation and strategy development through mediation, trial, and execution of judgment, helping them navigate complex legal challenges and achieve effective outcomes.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Mdeway served as an associate at a real estate law boutique. While in law school, Mr. Mdeway served as a judicial intern to U.S. District Court Judge Michael J. Newman of the Southern District of Ohio, and to Judge Frank Covello of the New Jersey Superior Court, Passaic Vicinage. He served as a student attorney at Villanova’s Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services, representing families from the Middle East, Central America, and West Africa. He was also the inaugural Salman Al-Sudairi Scholar and was the Class of 1967 Scholar. While at American University, he was the Congressman James W. Symington Scholar and a Western Union Global Scholar.
