Overview
Christopher Brown focuses his practice in the areas of general liability, commercial and professional liability litigation with an emphasis on health law, professional licensure hearings and investigations, and the defense of physicians, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
Mr. Brown is a highly experienced litigation attorney who has served as counsel in numerous state, federal, and administrative health law cases. He represents clients in Florida Department of Health investigations, regulatory board proceedings, fraud and abuse claims, audits, professional licensing and medical staff matters, and issues related to business arrangements. He also handles high exposure general liability trials and has significant experience handling fraud and reimbursement cases involving Medicare and Medicaid.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Brown represents parties in healthcare transactions, including the drafting of purchase and sale contracts, employment and management agreements, and other documents.
