Christopher E. Brown

Overview

Christopher Brown focuses his practice on general liability, commercial litigation, and professional liability, with an emphasis on health law, professional licensure hearings and investigations, and the defense of physicians, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.

Mr. Brown represents clients in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings involving healthcare matters. His experience includes Department of Health investigations, regulatory board proceedings, fraud and abuse claims, audits, professional licensing, medical staff matters, and healthcare business arrangements. He also handles high-exposure general liability trials and fraud and reimbursement matters involving Medicare and Medicaid.

In addition to litigation, Mr. Brown represents parties in healthcare transactions, including the preparation of purchase and sale contracts, employment and management agreements, and related documents.
