Overview

Cameron Perkins focuses his practice in commercial litigation, labor and employment, and professional liability.

Mr. Perkins has experience in representing national and local businesses in a broad range of matters, including civil litigation, torts, commercial and complex commercial litigation. His work includes defending developers, property owners, and homeowners associations (HOAs). In his employment work, he defends employers against claims of negligent hiring and retention, and retaliation, and discrimination. Mr. Perkins works in federal and state courts, through counsel, and in arbitration and mediation.

Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Perkins served as an associate at a national firm, handling complex commercial and civil litigation. Prior to that, he represented clients—including lenders, financial institutions, landlords, and tenants—in a broad range of real estate transactions, construction defect cases, and real property disputes.

During law school, he gained valuable experience through internships with the City Attorney’s Office in Tampa, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and several private law firms.
