Overview

Austin Kulik concentrates his practice in professional liability and labor and employment law.

In his professional liability practice, Mr. Kulik defends professionals against negligence claims. In particular, he represents attorneys, accountants, engineers, and insurance brokers and agents to protect their reputations and businesses. In his legal malpractice work, he has defended law firms from professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract claims. Mr. Kulik has dealt with a wide variety of underlying legal malpractice matters, including appeals, family law, and corporate transactions.

In his employment practice, he defends employers and their insureds in PAGA and ADA claims, as well as from claims of alleged employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and a range of personnel matters.

Mr. Kulik was previously a law clerk with Kaufman Dolowich. Prior to joining the firm, he also worked as a law clerk at an employment law firm and as a legal intern at a law firm specializing in international arbitration. During law school, Mr. Kulik was a teaching assistant, and served as articles editor of the school’s interdisciplinary law journal.
