Overview
Associate Anthony J. Crasto concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, maritime and admiralty law, and professional liability defense.
He represents individuals and businesses in commercial litigation cases in the areas of contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, and other business-related claims. Mr. Crasto’s work in maritime law cases includes representing vessel owners and operators, and marine terminal operators in claims for cargo loss and damage. In his professional liability practice, he represents directors and officers, insurance agents and brokers, lawyers, accountants, and homeowners’ associations against claims of professional negligence and breach of fiduciary duty.
Mr. Crasto is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an attorney. Previously, he served as a law clerk with Kaufman Dolowich. During law school he was an editor at the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, a member of the Corporate and Securities Law Society at St. John’s University School of Law, and a judicial extern in the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey. Additionally, he received The Wann Family Foundation Award Scholarship in Business Planning.
