Overview
Partner Annalisa Zulueta is a civil litigation and trial attorney who focuses her practice in general liability defense and professional liability. She provides counsel and represents clients in state court, federal court, before governing agencies, and through mediation.
Ms. Zulueta defends clients in liability cases including catastrophic property damage, premises liability, and products liability matters. Her general liability work also includes construction defect cases and defending against third-party claims. She represents a range of private clients and insureds in matters of alleged negligence and breach of duty in professional services. Her professional liability work includes defending against damage to professionals’ reputations and livelihood from accusations of misconduct.
Her experience on the defense and plaintiff sides offers clients the benefits of a broad strategic perspective. Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Zulueta practiced as a litigation partner at another national law firm. She previously served as a managing attorney, supervising operations at a litigation practice, and as an Administrative Hearing Officer, conducting administrative hearings for the City of San Diego. Ms. Zulueta began her career as a plaintiffs’ attorney supporting in bad-faith insurance trials.
