Overview
Angela L. Killian focuses her law practice on general liability defense, employment practices liability defense, and professional liability defense.
Ms. Killian represents public entities in premises liability and personal injury matters. She also defends labor and employment claims including Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and collective Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions. Additionally, Ms. Killian represents attorneys, accountants, insurance brokers, and trustees in professional liability matters.
In law school, she tutored students in academic courses and facilitated bias training for faculty and students. Outside of class, she worked as a legal research assistant for intellectual property matters and served as a judicial extern in Chicago’s Cook County Circuit Court Chancery Division.
