Kaufman Dolowich’s Of Counsel Henry Norwood weighed in on the implications of a case involving a New Jersey practice that recently lost a suit to enforce a restrictive covenant against a physician they had released.
Mr. Norwood provided insight into the court’s ruling, noting that enforcing the noncompete “would potentially result in less access to care for children” and that “weighed on the court’s decision.” In the article, Norwood suggested practices keep that in mind especially when drafting a noncompete involving a specialist physician as was the case here.
