Kaufman Dolowich Opens Conn. Office Under New Partner, Law360, 1-25-22
Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP is opening an office in Westport, Connecticut, continuing its growth in the New York City metro area under the leadership of an employment attorney and partner who recently moved to the firm from Goldberg Segalla LLP, the firm said Monday. Kaufman Dolowich said the new office at 55 Post Road West will operate under Office Managing Partner Reshma Khanna, who joined the firm this winter after more than 5½ years in Goldberg Segalla’s New York office. The new office builds on Kaufman Dolowich’s expansion over the past year, which include a tie-up with Southern California firm Greenberg Whitcombe Takeuchi & Gibson LLP this month, two partner hires in Florida and the absorption of Babchik & Young LLP in White Plains, New York.
Firmwide Co-Managing Partner Michael A. Kaufman said in a statement that the Westport office builds on its growth plans throughout the region. “When we opened our Westchester office last spring and added 11 attorneys in the office in October, we had a goal of increasing our service across the region and reaching into upstate New York and Connecticut,” he said. “Reshma’s established relationships in New York and Connecticut will be a great asset as we leverage our platform in the regions.”
Khanna’s practice revolves around employer-side employment law matters, which has been a specialty of Kaufman Dolowich since its inception as a Long Island-based boutique firm in 1986. Her firm biography says she litigates on behalf of and counsels employers across industries in such issues as Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, public accommodations, employment agreements and employee handbooks. She also defends companies and executives against claims related to discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and other employment violations. Read full article at link below.
