TK Stewart

Overview

TK Stewart focuses her practice on employment law, business and commercial litigation, and general liability defense.

Ms. Stewart represents employers in a broad range of employment-related matters, including claims involving wage and hour violations, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. She counsels and defends employers throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

In her business and commercial litigation practice, she defends clients in a variety of matters including contract and business disputes.

As part of her general liability practice, Ms. Stewart represents clients in matters involving premises and automobile liability, and related negligence claims.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Stewart practiced at a Texas-based litigation firm, where she managed insurance defense matters from inception through resolution. Her experience included personal injury claims, vehicle property damage disputes, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, insurance coverage disputes, bad faith and extra-contractual claims, and matters arising under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act (DTPA). She also maintained an active litigation coverage practice serving as an independent litigation coverage attorney, appearing in courts throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area on behalf of attorneys and clients in a wide range of civil matters.
