Overview

Sheedeh Lytz practices labor and employment law, representing employers in matters such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage-and-hour claims, including Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, while also handling complaints before the California Civil Rights Department and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She advises clients on workplace issues—from discipline and terminations to accommodations and leaves of absence—helping prevent liability through proactive compliance reviews. Ms. Lytz also develops and updates employment policies and documents, including handbooks and safety plans, ensuring they align with evolving federal and state labor laws.

Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Lytz worked at a regional law firm representing companies in business and commercial litigation and founded a nonprofit connecting women with resources to reenter the workforce. She is a certified mediator by the state of California.

Ms. Lytz is fluent in Farsi.
