Overview

Shaquirah Dixon concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability, employment law, professional liability, and commercial litigation.

Ms. Dixon handles commercial litigation cases including real estate condominium matters, and business disputes. In her professional liability work she defends doctors and healthcare professionals, as well as lawyers, in claims alleging a failure to perform their duties.

Ms. Dixon defends employers in a variety of industries in cases of wage and hour compliance and litigation, and incases of employment practices liability claims. Her general liability defense work provides insurance clients with her diligent handling of property damage and premises liability claims work.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Dixon handled commercial litigation, insurance defense, and business transaction cases, and served as an Administrative Law Judge, presiding over hearings for unemployment benefits. While in law school, Ms. Dixon served as an editor on the school law review, and a teaching assistant for classes in civil procedure and legal writing.
