Overview
Shaquirah Dixon concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability, employment law, professional liability, and commercial litigation.
Ms. Dixon handles commercial litigation matters, including real estate and condominium disputes, as well as a variety of business disputes. In her professional liability practice, she defends real estate agents, real estate brokers, accountants, and attorneys against claims alleging professional negligence and other failures in the performance of their duties.
Ms. Dixon also defends employers across a range of industries in wage and hour compliance matters, employment litigation, and employment practices liability claims. Her general liability practice includes the defense of property damage and premises liability claims on behalf of insurers and their insureds.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Dixon handled commercial litigation, insurance defense, and business transaction matters. She also served as an Administrative Law Judge, presiding over hearings involving unemployment benefits. While attending law school, Ms. Dixon served as an editor of the law review and as a teaching assistant for courses in civil procedure and legal writing.
