Overview
Samuel Sjosten concentrates his practice in consumer financial services. He provides regulatory compliance guidance, assisting clients with examination processes, disciplinary proceedings, settlement negotiations, and internal audits. He also represents clients in matters arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sjosten was an attorney at a medical malpractice firm, where he advised clients, managed cases, and represented them in professional liability matters involving law firms, lawyers, and accountants. He regularly appeared in court for hearings and conferences and successfully negotiated settlements and dismissals. He later joined another firm, representing clients in long-term care, medical malpractice, and other general liability matters.
