Overview

Attorney Ravyn Goss focuses her law practice in employment litigation and general liability defense.

Ms. Goss’ litigation practice includes employment discrimination and retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment cases, wage and hour disputes, and disability accommodation matters. She also represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Texas Commission on Human Rights. In addition, Ms. Goss provides human resources training and assists companies in creating employee handbooks.

In her general liability defense work, she defends insurance carriers and their insureds in claims or matters pertaining to automobile cases, bodily injury and premises liability.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she served as an Assistant Deputy City Attorney for the City of Portland, Oregon. There she litigated personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, employment discrimination and retaliation claims, and other tort actions against the City in state and federal court. She has also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Karrie K. McIntyre at the Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon. During law school, Ms. Goss worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice and the General Counsel for the Oregon State Bar. She was an active student leader, serving as both President and Vice President of the Black Student Law Association while also sitting on the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee for the law school.
