Overview
Patrick Marsh concentrates his practice in labor and employment law.
He represents clients in a wide range of employment-related matters. He defends and advises corporations, private businesses, and insurance carriers in wage and hour disputes arising under the California Labor Code, the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). He also provides guidance on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and in class actions.
Additionally, Mr. Marsh defends clients in claims of alleged employment discrimination, wrongful termination, personnel matters, and matters under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Marsh served as an associate at a Los Angeles firm defending clients in complex FEHA litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. He also served as a Kings County Deputy District Attorney, handling criminal court proceedings and participating in their insurance task force, and earlier, worked as a law clerk assisting in workers’ compensation fraud cases.
Mr. Marsh is fluent in German. During law school, Mr. Marsh was Dean’s List honoree, and a recipient of the Sandra Day O’Connor Merit Scholarship and Honors Program.
