Overview

Noorali Soomro concentrates his practice in labor and employment law. He represents employers in a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, and wage and hour disputes. He litigates claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the New York State Division of Human Rights (NYSDHR).

Mr. Soomro first joined Kaufman Dolowich as a law clerk. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked at an employment law firm where he drafted pleadings, discovery, and agency charges. He also assisted with settlement and severance negotiations, prepared pre-mediation statements, and supported class and individual employment actions. Further, he assisted in preparing clients for interviews with city, state, and federal agencies.

Mr. Soomro is fluent in Spanish.
