Monique Allen

Overview

Monique Allen focuses her practice on general liability, representing clients in a broad range of matters, including premises liability, property damage, construction defects, construction site accidents, automobile liability, and products liability. She provides counsel throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation strategy through discovery and motion practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Allen worked at an insurance defense firm, where she represented landowners and contractors in matters involving construction site accidents, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and asbestos litigation. She also served as a legal intern with the Office of Administrative Hearings in New York City, assisting administrative law judges, and with the Legal Council of Chicago, where she supported the Supplemental Security Income Homeless Outreach Project in helping individuals with disabilities secure government benefits.

While attending St. John’s University School of Law, Ms. Allen was a member of the Economic Justice Clinic, advocating for individuals whose government benefits had been compromised. She also participated in the Vincentian Mission Fellows program, a two-year community service initiative through which she mentored and tutored at-risk youth in low-income neighborhoods.
