Overview
Joseph F. Mackolin, Jr. focuses his practice on insurance coverage, representing insurers in a broad range of complex coverage matters including those involving management, employment, and professional liability claims in the U.S. and London markets. Mr. Mackolin advises clients on insurance coverage, drafts coverage opinions, and assists clients with claim monitoring, resolution and settlement negotiations.
Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Mackolin represented clients in civil litigation, municipal law, and real estate matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mackolin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Francis R. Hodgson Jr., where he prepared and summarized case files, drafted legal memoranda and briefs, attended court sessions, and mediated landlord-tenant matters.
