Overview

Jordan Goldfarb focuses his practice on insurance coverage and defense, representing clients in a wide range of complex matters.

His experience includes handling first- and third-party claims, property and flood damage disputes, premises and product liability actions, subrogation, investigating and prosecuting fraud cases, allegations of bad faith, and internal disputes. Mr. Goldfarb has represented individuals, businesses, and associations (including condominium and homeowner’s associations) in a wide range of contractual and tort disputes.

Mr. Goldfarb also advises and counsels clients on a variety of operational and regulatory matters. His work includes drafting and revising policy language, updating claims-handling guidelines, compiling metrics and analyzing industry trends, and assisting clients in responding to regulatory inquiries from governmental entities, including the Florida Department of Financial Services. Mr. Goldfarb has also handled a wide array of commercial and contract disputes, and defended businesses against government investigations and enforcement actions.

Prior to joining KD, he was a partner at a national firm, where he focused on insurance defense. Earlier in this career, he worked as a civil litigator in private practice and served as an in-house attorney for a large, diverse insurance company.
