Overview
Janice Jacques concentrates her practice in general liability and employment law.
In her general liability practice, Ms. Jacques represents clients in matters involving premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, transportation and trucking, insurance coverage, indemnity and subrogation, and contract disputes.
Ms. Jacques also represents employers in employment litigation involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and harassment claims.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Jacques practiced at regional law firms in Austin and Houston, representing commercial and non-commercial clients in construction and insurance defense matters. Her prior experience includes construction defect and warranty claims, bad-faith insurance claims, DTPA disputes, and third-party and UM/UIM motor vehicle claims.
