Janelle Shirk

Janelle Shirk focuses her practice on insurance coverage.

Ms. Shirk represents insurers in a broad range of complex coverage matters including those involving management, employment, and professional liability claims in the U.S. and London markets, and she assists clients with claim monitoring, resolution and settlement negotiations. 

Prior to joining KD, Ms. Shirk practiced at an insurance defense firm, where she represented insureds and national insurance carriers in complex litigation through trial and appeal. She previously practiced at another insurance defense firm, where she handled a variety of insurance defense actions, including business liability, personal injury, and motor vehicle accidents.
