Overview

Jake Falk focuses his practice on labor and employment law.

Mr. Falk advises and defends employers in matters involving wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination and harassment, and claims of retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblowing. His practice includes representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and litigating issues under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and other federal and state employment laws.

Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Falk served as an assistant district attorney, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases and overseeing all phases of prosecution, including investigations, Grand Jury presentations, motion practice, hearings, and trials.
