Overview
Frances Zayonts focuses her practice on insurance coverage and litigation. She serves as claims, coverage, monitoring, and program management counsel to professional and management liability insurers in the London and U.S. domestic markets in matters involving directors and officers (D&O), employment practices liability (EPL), lawyers’ liability, insurance agents and brokers liability, miscellaneous professional liability, and more.
Ms. Zayonts advises insurers on coverage, claims strategy, liability, and exposure throughout the life of a claim. She handles complex coverage issues, monitors litigation, evaluates allegations and potential exposure, and works with insurers and panel counsel to develop defense and resolution strategies consistent with applicable policy language and the insurer’s objectives.
Before joining Kaufman Dolowich, Ms. Zayonts was an attorney at a national law firm, where she represented domestic and international insurers in specialty and professional lines matters.
Ms. Zayonts is fluent in Russian.
