Overview
Dominic Borelli focuses his defense practice in consumer financial services and institutions.
Mr. Borelli assists large and small businesses, as well as individuals, in all phases of the litigation process in the financial regulatory environment. He counsels clients facing challenges of regulatory inquiries, investigations, and comprehensive compliance reviews.
Mr. Borelli assists clients in evaluating their products, policies, and procedures for compliance with financial regulations to avoid actions under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Borelli served as a trial lawyer and a law clerk at a Philadelphia law firm, and as a board advisor for a small businesses’ corporate and business law matters. During law school, he was an operations intern for the Philadelphia Eagles, a member of Widener University’s Intellectual Property Law Society and Contract Negotiations Society, and President of the school’s Sports & Entertainment Law Society.
Mr. Borelli is conversational in Italian.
