Overview
Anna M. Holloway focuses her practice on consumer financial services litigation, representing financial institutions in disputes involving consumer mortgage loans, deposit accounts, and credit cards. She defends claims arising from origination, servicing, foreclosure, loan workouts, and a broad range of consumer protection statutes, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, and related federal banking regulations.
In addition, Ms. Holloway advises clients on liability, risk mitigation, fraud mitigation, and regulatory compliance, and regularly handles consumer complaints before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and state attorneys general.
Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, she was an attorney with a national law firm, where she focused on financial services litigation representing major banks and other financial institutions.
