Supreme Court considers fired TSA air marshal’s whistleblower status, Westlaw Journal Aviation ft. Jeff Ettenger

Posted Nov 18, 2014

Jeffrey Ettenger, of counsel in KD’s Long Island office, has been quoted regarding a recent oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court on the firing of an air marshal by the TSA. In the article, published on November 18, 2014, Mr. Ettenger and other attorneys provide their thoughts on whether whistleblower protection applies to the air marshal and how the justices are likely to rule.

“[T]he fact that Mr. MacLean intended to and in fact did perform a public benefit by his actions appeared compelling to the court,” Ettenger said.
