Kaufman Dolowich’s Dove A.E. Burns, Regional Managing Partner of the firm’s California offices and Managing Partner of its New Haven office, was recently quoted in POLITICO’s coverage of an upcoming U.S. Supreme Court case concerning whether employees of federally funded educational institutions may sue their employers for sex discrimination under Title IX.

Ms. Burns explained that employees can pursue sex discrimination claims under Title VII but must first exhaust administrative remedies and face different limits on available damages.
