Philip Voluck, Presenting at Philadelphia Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Committee Meeting

Philip Voluck, Managing Partner of KD, will be presenting at the Philadelphia Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Committee Meeting.

Mr. Voluck will be presenting on web accessibility under the ADA. The presentation will discuss the requirements that public web sites be compliant under the ADA; the challenges presented to web accessibility for people with disabilities; and the theories of liability and defenses underlying web accessibility lawsuits.

The presentation will also focus on the efforts of the U.S. Department of Justice to target private employers and industries with inaccessible web sites, as well as the increase in private lawsuits challenging the non-compliance of public web sites.
