About that NLRB Ruling, Human Resource Executive ft. Jeffery Meyer

December 12, 2014 — Jeffery A. Meyer, partner in KD’s Long Island office, has been quoted by Human Resource Executive’s The Leader Board regarding yesterday’s NLRB ruling. The NLRB has ruled that employees have the right to use company email for union-organizing activities.

“What this decision does is to provide unions and employees with a legal foundation to argue that Section 7 rights now trump an employer’s property right in almost any circumstance,” Meyer writes in a brief on the ruling.
