NJ Hospital Sex Harassment Suit Dismissed For Timeliness, Law360, ft. Iram Valentin

A medical office manager who had a consensual affair with a physician, then sued him for sexual harassment, waited too long to file suit against the doctor and the hospital affiliated with his medical group, a New Jersey state judge said.
“We are pleased with the court’s decision and believe that the court properly applied the law,” Iram Valentin, an attorney for Hesquirajosa, told Law360 on Tuesday. “The court properly found that there was no basis to sustain a sexual harassment claim based upon the clearly consensual nature of the relationship, or any other claims, based upon the many admissions that plaintiffs made in depositions.”
