NJ High Court Throws Up Roadblock For Harassment Plaintiffs, Law360 ft. Anna Maria Tejada

Posted Feb 12, 2015

Anna Maria Tejada, partner and director of KD’s NJ Labor and Employment Law group, is quoted in a Law360 article published February 12, 2015.

Before a 5-2 majority of the high court issued its opinion Wednesday in corrections officer Ilda Aguas’ state Law Against Discrimination suit, it wasn’t clear how a New Jersey employer could defend itself if a supervisor allegedly sexually harassed a subordinate and created a hostile work environment even though the employer took reasonable care and acted promptly to investigate and resolve any problems, according to Anna Maria Tejada of Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP.
